Shirley was previously a Vocational Rehabilitation Counselor for 24 years and specialized in assisting high school students to transition into the world of work.

Lisa Stern has focused her efforts on Veterans’ employment issues since 2004, and is currently a consultant to the Department of Labor’s America's Heroes at Work initiative, working to improve the employment outcomes for Veterans living with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
